One week in review

I became a grampa one week ago and it has been a hectic week. After returning from the four days away with the new little one, we tried to behave normal at school. But the smile would not leave and the fondness for the little guy continue to grow. So we just had to return for a quick visit with Amos and his folks.
I spent part of the day on a dad project for Carrie and then got to hold Amos for the shortest of time. I offered him a bite of my cookie but his mom would not let him have it. Something about it spoiling his dinner.But is a grampa’s job to spoil his grandchildren. I will continue to offer treats to him when I can get away with it.
