Amos, Mom and Dad
After a long day of support (sitting in the waiting room) we got to meet the baby that will change all our lives. Amos came into his own on February 27, 2009 at 9:28. His mom and dad are great and he is a healthy little guy with bright eyes and a head of hair. The hospital was great and all the staff treated his parents like heroes. His dad was able to be with his momma all through the process even exceeding his own expectations. The new family unit is resting together in one room at the hospital.
His aunts and uncles were there as well as his grandparents from both sides were there to greet him, some patiently, some not so. Twitter, facebook and texting were all used to convey his arrival out to the world at large. What a change from the last generations communication method.
