I have spent a week without my computer. It suffered a fixable (hopefully) accident and I was forced to move into an open office and use a spare computer. I am able to work on class prep, check my email and function quite normally. But, and it is a big but, I have been out of sorts all week. I can’t seem to settle in and be productive.
I realize it is the difference in the surroundings. i am not free to relax and get into the mood. sometimes my “mood” involves singing along with the music in my head. Now anyone who has ever me sing knows why i don’t normally sing in mixed company. Couple that with the choice of music i have on the ol’ Ipod and it is reason enough for everyone to want me back behind a close-able door.
This is push week, the last week before the students return to class. A week which normally sees the final touches put on the paperwork for the upcoming semester. What a week to be operating at 60-75%. Oh well, all is not lost. I did fix the leak on the deLonghi Magnifica. Oh yeah!
How did you fix it? we have one that leaks when its brewing, and another that leaks when its not.
you have any take apart guides, or info?
