Abba Father!

The last of the books in the New Testament, is the book of the Revelations of John. It is considered by some to be the last of the epistles, a pastoral letter written to the seven churches. It contains many visions and is often confusing. Did it speak of things yet to happen? If so, when? Does it still speak of things to happen? If so, when? Depending on how you answer the last question will determine how you view this book.

One thing is for certain, it speaks of judgement against people and actions derived from personal choices. Rev. 1:7 warns us “Look, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him; and all the peoples of the earth will mourn because of him. So shall it be! Amen.” With that as a backdrop, I am glad I have a father in heaven who hears the cry of this child. Abba father is just such a cry. Help me! And His arms are never short, for He reaches me every time.

When the end does come, who will you cry for?
