As the title states, this is an article from a group of Christian leaders in response to an open letter from a group of Islamic scholars. Other leaders in the body of Christ have gone on record supporting this type of dialog with Islam but at what price. This group has taken the time to research the “scholars” and also analyze the letter. Rather long but worth the read.

I cannot imagine how any Christian could link Christianity with its opposite, islam! In islam Isa whom muslims pretend is Jesus, is a slave of allah and Christians and their text and beliefs are abused and threatened! Jesus wasn’t crucified.
Even worse, isa/Jesus kills Christians (breaks cross, kills swine etc all euphamisms for killing Christians) so islam will rule! Is this the similarity muslims claim- that Jesus is really a Muslim fighting for Islam?
***Abu Dawud Book 37, Number 4310: Narrated AbuHurayrah:
The Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) said: There is no prophet between me and him, that is, Jesus (peace_be_upon_him). He will descend (to the earth). When you see him, recognise him: a man of medium height, reddish fair, wearing two light yellow garments, looking as if drops were falling down from his head though it will not be wet. He will fight the people for the cause of Islam. He will break the cross, kill swine, and abolish jizyah. Allah will perish all religions except Islam. He will destroy the Antichrist and will live on the earth for forty years and then he will die. The Muslims will pray over him.
Jesus didn’t kill, have sex with a 9 year old, endorse clitoridectomy (hadiths and islamic laws), beat or punch women, enslave, rape, murder, behead, amputate, assassinate, thieve, threaten others or abuse and control females in every possible way! Why would anyone join the great example of the Christian Jesus and his god to the vile (anti-christ) mohammad and his god? Islam is filled with hatred and violence to others -there is no ‘love thy neighbour’ so central to Christianity!
This letter is only a call to submit to islamic views and allow islam to hide under the idea that it is just like Judeo-Christian belief and harmless….Please Christians, don’t destroy yourselves by agreeing with this deceptive letter in any way! You can’t criticise the evil of islam if you have stupidly agreed that you worship the same god…NO YOU DON”T!!!
